Summer Course on Legal English

Objective
This new summer course runs over five days, providing participants with an engaging opportunity to enhance their legal English terminology and practice its application in professional contexts.
The course is designed to address the essential needs of legal professionals for effective communication in English - combining intensive language learning in a relaxed summer atmosphere in Trier, Germany’s oldest city.
The course focuses on refreshing and further developing participants’ knowledge of legal English terminology. Through practical sessions, participants will strengthen their confidence in understanding and communicating complex legal matters, both in written and oral forms. The curriculum covers terminology from various fields of EU substantive law and procedure, including civil law, criminal law, human rights, and selected additional topics.
