Objective

The seminar will provide participants with an overview of EU gender equality legislation as interpreted by the Court of Justice of the European Union in its large case law on this topic. 

Interaction among participants will be encouraged through periods of discussion and working groups requiring their active participation.

Who should attend?

Judges, prosecutors and other members of the judiciary from countries participating in the CERV Programme (all EU Member States, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Serbia and Ukraine).
*This designation is without prejudice to positions on status and is in line with UNSCR 1244 and the ICJ opinion on Kosovo Declaration of Independence.
