Annual Conference on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the EU 2025

Objective
This online conference provides an analysis of disability in the EU legal landscape, including the recent review of the UNCRPD, developments in European case law and disability strategies.
A central focus will be the intersection of digitalisation and disability rights, examining how new technologies impact accessibility and inclusion. The programme will also assess the effects of recent EU initiatives – such as the European Accessibility Act and the 2021–2030 Disability Strategy – on promoting disability inclusion in an increasingly digital society.
