ERA has joined the NADAL Network as an observer, marking closer cooperation with European public prosecutors.
The Academy of European Law has been elected as an observer to the NADAL Network at the occasion of its General Assembly, held in Brussels on 8 May 2026. The meeting was attended by ERA’s Director of Programmes, Viktor Vadász.
The NADAL Network, established in 2008, brings together public prosecutors and equivalent institutions at the supreme judicial courts of the Member States of the European Union.
Represented by its President Ria Mortier, Prosecutor General of Belgium, the network joined the initiative of the European Forum of the Legal Professions, creating further opportunities for European prosecutors to engage in dialogue with other legal professions. The General Assembly also adopted the Brussels Declaration, reaffirming its commitment to the rule of law and the protection of fundamental rights.
