ERA Programme Highlights for Autumn 2026

ERA’s autumn programme is under way. Director of Programmes Viktor Vadász looks ahead to some of our highlights for September and October.

September begins with the second part of ERA’s Summer Courses, covering public procurement, data protection, IT law, labour mobility and EU staff regulations.

On 22 and 23 September, the EDEN Conference on Data Protection and Cybersecurity in Law Enforcement will take place in Lisbon, organised in cooperation with Europol. Later in September, the European Patent Litigation Certificate, organised in cooperation with Maastricht University, starts its 2026–2027 edition.

In October, the final of the Young European Lawyers Contest returns to Trier and Luxembourg. ERA will also hold several of its flagship annual conferences, covering sustainable finance, consumer law and EU competition law.

Looking ahead, the Annual Conference of the European Forum of the Legal Professions will take place in Brussels and online on 16 November.
