Willkommen bei der ERA, der Europäischen Rechtsakademie!

What I found truly inspiring at ERA was the opportunity to learn directly from top-level experts and policymakers shaping EU IP law. Their insights and experiences greatly enrich participants’ understanding and offer a privileged perspective on the latest developments in EU law and policy.

ERA is doing a great job in EU training because it brings together experts from different Member States (and now also third-states) with a broad range of views on EU law issues. This makes the conferences interesting for participants and gives the speakers some food for thought as well!

I would like to thank all the ERA patrons, the European Union and the German Land of Rhineland Palatinate for supporting this unique and truly European institute.

Along with my colleagues Adriana de Buerba and Iris Goldner Lang, I would like to thank the ERA trustees for electing us to chair the Board for the term of office 2024-2027.

It is always a great pleasure to take part in the ERA events, engaging with talented participants, and contributing to discussions that bridge theory and practice in intellectual property law. ERA plays a vital role in fostering professional growth and cross-border dialogue among legal experts across Europe.
