Objective

This final seminar in a project co-funded by the European Commission will focus on the EU’s 2011 Green Paper on detention and the ongoing debate and developments surrounding it.

  • The EU Green Paper on the application of EU criminal justice legislation in the field of detention
  • Effective national supervision of detention conditions
  • Good practices in prison management

Conditions of participation

  • Registration fee: €165
  • Travel costs up to €300 (including taxi costs) and accommodation for two nights (12-14 February) up to €90 per night will be reimbursed by ERA upon receipt of the original receipts, tickets, boarding passes and invoices after the seminar.
  • Participants are asked to book their own travel and accommodation.

Who should attend?

Judges, prosecutors, lawyers in private practice, ministry officials and officials from prison administrations, the probation system and prison monitoring bodies.
