Objective
Online
child sexual exploitation is a constantly evolving phenomenon and is
shaped by developments in technology. Mobile connectivity and the
development of pay-as-you-go streaming solutions, which provide a high
degree of anonymity to the viewer, are furthering the trend in the
commercialisation of child sexual abuse material.
This seminar aims to assess and debate legal measures to prevent and
combat the production, processing, possession and distribution of child
sexual abuse material on the internet. Particular emphasis will be
placed on the dialogue between law enforcement agencies and the internet
industry.
