The new proposal on the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D), which aims to cover the entire value chain introduces a comprehensive corporate due diligence system to prevent or mitigate human rights abuses and environmental damage. It is currently under intense discussion in and outside the trilogue process.
