Objective

The rapid progress of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning raises key questions regarding benefits and risks for the criminal justice system.

This online conference will focus on how AI could be used to predict crimes and as a criminal intelligence tool, enabling the shift from a traditionally reactionary approach to crime-fighting to one that is more proactive and preventative in character.

It is aimed at judges, lawyers, prosecutors, police investigators and civil servants with a view to highlighting the aspects of artificial intelligence already in use today as well as the changes and opportunities on the horizon.
