For the thirteenth consecutive year ERA will organise the State Aid Forum, providing a unique platform for discussion and the exchange of views and experience between the various practitioners - private and public - in this field.
This year the Forum will focus on the measures adopted to address the financial and economic crisis, such as:
- the assessment of restructuring measures in the financial sector;
- the preconditions for access to the different national schemes for undertakings operating in the real economy.
Attention will be focused on the Icelandic financial crisis, the role of state aid in the transport infrastructure sector, and the role of third parties.
The Forum will also analyse procedural issues related to the private enforcement of the EC Competition rules rules, and the latest developments in the case law of the Community Courts.
