Objective
This first seminar in a series of three co-funded by the European Commission will analyse the scope and nature of the problem of impunity when investigating and prosecuting trafficking in human beings (THB).
Best practices will be shared in how to counteract impunity, including national and cross-border law enforcement and judicial cooperation, and also cooperation with NGOs and civil society in identifying perpetrators and victims of THB.

Participation Conditions
- Registration fee: €120 including documentation, lunch and joint dinner.
- Travel costs up to €300 will be reimbursed only upon receipt of the original receipts, tickets, boarding passes and invoices after the seminar.
- Two nights' hotel accommodation up to €145 per night will be reimbursed by ERA upon receipt of the original receipts and invoices after the seminar for participants who have to travel more than 100km to Vienna.
- The number of places available is limited (50 places). Target group: law enforcement officers, civil society/NGOs. Participation will be subject to a selection procedure.
- A response will be sent to every applicant after the deadline. We advise you not to book any travel or hotel before you receive our confirmation.
- Participants are asked to book their own travel and accommodation.
- Participants should come from eligible EU Member States (Denmark does not participate in the ISF Police instrument) or eligible Candidate Countries (Albania and Montenegro).
Who should attend?
Judges, prosecutors, law enforcement officers, civil society/NGOs from eligible EU Member States (Denmark does not participate in the Internal Security Fund - Police 2014-2020) and eligible Candidate Countries (Albania and Montenegro).
If you have attended the seminar in Trier on 24-25 March 2022 on THB and countering impunity (322DT100f) you are not entitled to attend this seminar.
