Asset Management: From ESG Investing to Transition Finance
e-Presentation by Markus Lange

Topic
Climate change, the use and degradation of natural capital and global sustainable development goals bring about enormous challenges both from a political and a business perspective. Considerable sums of money are required to finance the transition towards a net-zero and green economy. Asset managers as large scale institutional investors are envisaged to play a key role in redirecting finance flows and effecting transition financing. This will, however, require asset management practices to move forward from “ESG investing“ as the current common state of play.Speaker
