Objective
This training will explain how to tackle discrimination
against persons with disabilities from different perspectives.
Participants will learn about the EU action and legal framework adopted
with a view to improving equal participation of persons with
disabilities in society. Key topics
- Key features of the UNCRPD
- Discrimination based on disability
- Accessibility and universal design
- EU funding and financial instruments in
the field of disability
Terms & conditions of participation
No seminar fee.The participants’ travel costs will be reimbursed up to 360 euros.
Two hotel nights will be booked and paid directly by ERA.
Who should attend?
National civil servants
and staff of NGOs, DPOs and equality bodies working on policy issues
related to disability. Only participants from EU Member States, plus
Iceland and Liechtenstein.
