Objective
This online seminar will present major judgments
related to family matters issued by the European Court of Human Rights
(ECtHR) in 2020/21.

- Surrogacy
It will provide participants with a detailed understanding of this
recent jurisprudence. The focus will be on Article 8 (respect for
private and family life), Article 12 (right to marry and to found a
family) and Article 14 (prohibition of discrimination) ECHR. The
presentation of the ECtHR case law will consider not only the legal
implications but also social, emotional and biological factors.
