Consultancy Contract: Representation in Brussels
The Academy of European Law (ERA) is the leading partner of the legal professions, European institutions and national administrations in providing training in European law. ERA is a non-profit foundation, supported by the EU and its Member States, with its headquarters in the German city of Trier, about 50km from Luxembourg.
We are currently looking for a consultant to promote and represent ERA in Brussels.
The tasks of the Brussels Representative will be to:
The Brussels Representative’s main contact person at ERA will be the Deputy Director (Corporate Communications). S/He will work closely with the Management Board and ERA’s lawyers, key account and marketing officers. Regular meetings in Brussels and/or Trier will guarantee a constant flow of communication.
ERA will pay the Brussels Representative a retainer fee covering all regular expenses for the services agreed in the consultancy contract. Additional fees for specific projects will be possible. ERA has a small office in Brussels with access to meeting rooms and facilities, which it may put at the disposal of the Representative.

- promote ERA’s work to the stakeholders representing its principal target groups (professional and trade associations, law firms, companies, Member State representations, EU institutions)
- acquire contracts, partnership agreements and participant registrations
- attract sponsorship and fundraising for ERA.
