This e-presentation describes three cases of fraudulent activities committed through the use of cryptocurrencies. Two cases involve retail investors who were 'deceived' and transferred their assets to platforms that later turned out to be fraudulent, while the third case concerns a bitcoin theft.
During the presentation, there will also be a discussion on the traceability of cryptocurrencies and how transactions conducted through obfuscation systems (such as mixers) can, over time, be traced and lead to the identification of criminals
