This five-day course will provide participants with an introduction to the following essential topics:
- The sources of taxation and the fundamental freedoms under the EU Treaty
- Direct taxation in the case law of the CJEU and interaction with domestic law
- Corporate taxation
- Individual taxation
- VAT
The course will focus on case-studies and workshops, allowing participants to apply the concepts learned to tax law practice.

Participants in this summer course will also have the opportunity to visit the Court of Justice of the EU in Luxembourg.
