Joined the Public Law Section as European Human Rights Specialist
in June 2023. Graduated from the University of Groningen (2017-2019)
with LLMs in ‘International Human Rights Law’ (summa cum laude) and in
‘Global Criminal Law’ (cum laude). Also obtained an LLB in
‘International and European Law’ (summa cum laude) at the University of
Groningen (2014-2017). Stays abroad for studies and work in Germany,
Austria, and South Korea. Worked as a research and teaching assistant
under Prof. Dr. Michel Vols at the University of Groningen (2016-2019)
and under Prof. Dr. Herrmann at the University of Passau (2019-2023).
Contributed to various research projects on EU environmental law,
housing law, family law, investment law as well as asylum law. Taught
courses i.a. on general EU law, EU fundamental rights and EU
Constitutional Law. PhD-Thesis on the scope of application of the EU
Charter and its application by national courts.
Granted several awards and scholarships, including research
and travel grants. Participated in various conferences and has numerous
scientific publications.
