Objective
This conference will debate the latest developments and challenges in the EU’s internal and external border management within the context of the 30th Schengen anniversary year. It will analyse the latest and forthcoming reforms to Schengen governance, as well as Frontex’ new and enhanced role and responsibilities in the face of rising migratory concerns and irregular border crossings in the Mediterranean and the threat of radicalised foreign fighters.
