The purpose of this course is to provide a thorough introduction to European labour law. Key topics
- Free movement of workers
- Applicable law to employment contracts
- Posting of workers
- Transfer of undertakings
- Information and consultation rights
- Equality and non-discrimination
- Part-time, fixed-term and temporary agency work
- Working time
EU legislation and recent case law of the European Court of Justice will be presented. Participants will be able to deepen their knowledge through case-studies and workshops.
Visit to the European Court of Justice
Participants in the summer course will also have the opportunity to visit the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg.

Participants in this summer course will also have the opportunity to visit the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. The number of places is limited by the Court for practical reasons to 35. These places will be allocated to the first 35 participants.
