Sanja Jovičić joined the Public Law Section at ERA as a Project Lawyer in October 2016 after working for four years as a case-processing lawyer in the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. Previously, she worked as a legal officer in the Slovenian judicial practice and as a lawyer linguist at the Court of Justice of the European Union. She further volunteered as a lawyer at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia in Phnom Penh.
Sanja obtained her law degree at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana and her master's degree at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.
She is admitted to practice law in the Republic of Slovenia.
