Objective
Private law in the European Union is currently
undergoing fundamental changes to make it fit for the demands of
digitisation. The recent Commission proposal of 23 February 2022 on the
Data Act triggers the debate. Who has access to data and under what
conditions can data be used? Will the use of AI lead to a shift of
paradigm in contract law?
This face-to-face conference will discuss how EU private law can respond
to the requirements of the data economy and the use of artificial
intelligence.
