Objective
The
aim of this online conference is to provide participants with a thorough
analysis of the role of circular economy as a key lever in bridging the
gap between current polices and the 1.5°C climate target.
Emphasis will be placed on the latest policy and
legislative developments under the Circular Economy Action Plan which
aim at reducing carbon footprint and enhancing resource-efficient
strategies. All action areas of the circular economy (production,
consumption, waste management) will be examined through the lens of
climate neutrality, while practical experiences from the key product
value-chains (textiles, batteries, cities, electronics, plastics,
construction) will enrich the legal debate.
