Objective
This online conference
provides an analysis of disability in the EU legal landscape, including
the recent review of the UNCRPD, developments in European case law and
disability strategies.
A central focus will be the intersection of digitalisation and
disability rights, examining how new technologies impact accessibility
and inclusion. The programme will also assess the effects of recent EU
initiatives – such as the European Accessibility Act and the 2021–2030
Disability Strategy – on promoting disability inclusion in an
increasingly digital society.
