Objective
This seminar will take a detailed
look at procedural rights in the context of evidence-gathering with a
special focus on new developments in the field of e-evidence.

- The gathering of cross-border evidence
and its admissibility
- Update on the state of play regarding
the EU Directives on procedural rights, i.e. the right to information,
legal aid and access to a lawyer, presumption of innocence, and the
position of children in criminal proceedings
- Setting a legal framework to address
the challenges posed by the gathering of e-evidence
- The need for further measures in the EU

- Spanish applicants who work for the
prosecution service must apply for this event through CEJ.

This seminar is targeted at judges, prosecutors and defence lawyers from all over the EU (Denmark does not participate in the Justice Programme 2014-2020).
