“I want Europe to embrace the opportunities it creates. But I also want us to make sure that we support creativity and cultural diversity. We owe it to creators. And we owe it to ourselves as this is vital in preserving and strengthening our cultural identity as Europeans.”, concludes Commissioner Tibor Navracsics in his key-note speech at the annual conference on European Media Law in Brussels.
