Lilian Erbel was born in 1989 in Trier. She graduated from the University of Trier in 2014 with a Master of Science in Business Administration, including a semester abroad in the UK. During her studies, she completed several internships and business case studies, including at KPMG, E&Y, Deloitte and the German tax authorities. She was a tutor and research assistant at the chairs of accounting, controlling, auditing and taxation.
Lilian then joined the controlling department of a medium-sized company in Trier and, after more than a year, moved to Swiss Life Fundmanagement (LUX) S.A as a Portfolio Manager. She joined the Mosel Musikfestival gGmbH as commercial director in 2019 and she was one of the co-founders and the managing director of moselmusikfestival asbl in Luxembourg in February 2023. In February 2022, she completed her 18-month training as a business coach with a focus on leadership training/development, communication management, personality development, people skills, change management and neuro-linguistic programming. She is also a member of UN Women Germany, Kulturstiftung Trier and the examination board KBM of the IHK Trier. She lectures on the topics of leadership, new work, organisational and personnel development, and financial structures in non-profit organisations.
Lilian has been Director of Finance & Human Resources at ERA since 1 July 2023 and Deputy Director since 1 January 2024.
