On 12 and 13 November 2012, Eurojust and the Academy of European Law (ERA) hosted a conference in The Hague on the operational achievements and future challenges of Eurojust after its first 10 years.
In 2012 Eurojust celebrates its 10th anniversary. Since its establishment in 2002, the European Union’s judicial cooperation unit has developed from a network of prosecutors with a limited mandate to a European judicial body increasingly involved in judicial cooperation and with growing operational tasks and powers. A forthcoming proposal for a Council Regulation will aim at reforming Eurojust's structure. A conference on 12-13 November 2012 in The Hague jointly organised by ERA and Eurojust will discuss past achievements and future challenges.
