transit points which are often situated outside of the Union. This seminar will analyse the current state of EU legislation,

trafficking in human beings and protecting its victims, and selected national
legislation on trafficking in human beings, as well as the Commission's
proposals on how to tackle this problem.
Key topics
- The European Commission’s Anti-Trafficking Coordinator
- Cross-border co-operation and the work of Europol and other
EU agencies
- Member States’ external actions: agreements between the EU
and third countries, regions or organisations at an international level
- Analysis of the transit points within and outside of the
Union
