Objective
The training is designed to address the experiences of persons with disabilities in court. Persons with disabilities face significant barriers in judicial proceedings and their specific needs need to be taken into account by the courts. This is particularly true in the case of persons deprived of their legal capacity and obliged to act through an appointed legal guardian.

Participation on selection. The selection of participants will be done by the EJTN members.
No seminar fee.
The participants’ travel costs will be reimbursed up to 360 euros.
Two hotel nights will be booked and paid directly by ERA.
Who should attend?
Participation is only open to members of the judiciary (judges, prosecutors and other court staff) from EU Member States, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
