Q & A Inga Mifsud Wismayer
How I use (or will use) European law in my work?
In my legal practice, I often deal with cross-border cases where European law is very important. I advise clients in areas like business, civil law, and administrative law. After this course, I feel more confident applying EU competition rules. I will use this knowledge when helping clients with contracts, business strategies, or cases involving unfair competition or abuse of market power.
How I benefited from the scholarship and the gained knowledge?
The scholarship gave me the chance to attend this high-level course online. It helped me better understand how European antitrust law works in practice. I learned how to define markets, how the European Commission investigates anticompetitive practices, and how to deal with digital market problems. The course improved my skills and gave me tools I can use right away in my work.
What impressed me the most?
I was most impressed by the practical exercises and real case examples. Even online, the sessions were interactive and clear. The part about digital markets and algorithmic collusion was especially interesting, as these are new challenges for lawyers. I also appreciated the quality of the speakers and the well-structured programme.
I greatly appreciate the efforts of the entire ERA team in putting together such a high-quality programme and for offering me the opportunity to be part of it.
I was honored to participate in the Summer Course on European Antitrust Law. Although I attended online, the experience was very enriching and well-organized.
