Journalists play a key role in explaining developments in European affairs and European law to the general public and to many of those responsible for putting that law into practice. For this reason professional journalists can participate free of charge in selected ERA events. If you are interested in an event or would like to register as a journalist, please contact our press office directly.

ERA also regularly offers a seminar on the European Court of Justice particularly for journalists. Its purpose is to provide interested journalists whose work requires them to cover stories related to EU law, especially the European Court of Justice and Court of First Instance, with a deeper understanding of the courts’ role in the European Union, their organisational structure and working procedures as well as recent developments.
